  • goodbye cali

wow its really been a long time since i've wrote in this thing but i think i'm going to bring it back forreals this time. so for those of you guys that don't know, i'm finally going to be making my move to JERSEY in about 8 hours. the past two weeks have been pretty stressful and i've been getting cold feet about moving-- especially since i've never lived so far away from home before for an unknown period of time. but the past few days everything has been coming together-- i got a great store that i'm transferring to (esp in this crappy economy that's a big plus!), my sis' place is all ready, shane and valerie are all ready to hangout, got to see almost all of my friends before i left. all of this and all the support that i've gotten from all my friends and family has really made this feel like the right thing to do right now at this juncture in my life. so who knows how long i'm going to stay out there? right now i'm going to say a year tops, but then again i might fall in love with it out there... this move feels like more of a journey for me to not only find out what i want to do with my life but also just my pursuit of happiness so to speak, which i wasn't able to find in sacramento. so wish me luck! i'll def be blogging in this thing while i'm out there. t

  • crappy movies

have you ever watched a really crappy movie and thought... "what the hell were they thinking??" if you delve a little deeper you'd start to think that at one point this movie went through so many filters of people actually APPROVING it as a project that'd make a lot of money. not only that, but someone actually wrote a script for it; actors and directors read this script and thought it was amazing. and to top it off after the movie was completed and edited, hundreds of people that were involved in the film excitedly thought to themselves... "wow, this is going to be an oscar worthy, high grossing movie."

... or maybe people just make crappy movies only to make money...

  • tanning salons

i used to think that there were only 2 kinds of guys that went to tanning salons:

    1) gay men

    2) bodybuilders

i think i'll add one more to that category since i don't really fit into either of those categories... guys taht get a really bad tanline at a college graduation (that was over a 100 degrees)and then have to go to a tanning salon to get rid of it because there's no sun in new jersey... =)

btw tars and isabel got married on saturday!! freaking awesome wedding! i gotta get on the ball!!
